About Manisha P. Patel, Esq.

At the heart of our practice is a client-centric philosophy. We understand that family-based legal challenges can be overwhelming, and our goal is to provide personalized attention to each client. By genuinely listening to your concerns and aspirations, we tailor our strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes that align with your unique needs.

Hello, I'm Manisha P. Patel, an attorney based in Greensboro, North Carolina. With a deep-rooted passion for justice and a steadfast commitment to my clients, my mission is to be your trusted legal advocate in our community.

As an attorney, we choose to focus solely on North Carolina family law and, more specifically, alternative dispute resolution, which includes collaborative family law and mediation. My extensive experience and training equip me to offer insightful guidance and skillful representation to our clients. We often hear how clients appreciate my meticulous attention to detail, strategic thinking, and compassionate approach to handling even the most intricate legal matters.

As an active member of the Greensboro community, I strongly believe in giving back, and you'll often find me participating in pro bono work, volunteering, and leading educational seminars. My commitment to making a positive impact extends well beyond the courtroom, touching the lives of individuals and families.

I proudly serve as an elected Councilor for the 24th Judicial District on the NC State Bar Council, a 59-person governing body, that oversees the regulatory agency presiding over the legal profession in North Carolina. I am also a member of several professional organizations, including the Greensboro Bar Association, where I served as President, immediate past-chair of the Women in the Profession Committee of the North Carolina Bar Association, a two-time Past-President of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys, along with the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations, and the American Bar Association.

These memberships reflect my dedication to staying current with the latest legal developments and underscore my commitment to improving and upholding the highest standards of the legal profession.

I earned my Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Elon University School of Law. During my time in law school, I immersed myself in legal studies, honing my understanding of the fundamental principles that underlie the practice of law today. Prior to law school, I attended Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in History in my four years in Blacksburg, Virginia.
